This week, we will finish our Hammurabi DBQ on Monday. Tuesday, we will have a vocabulary quiz and will be reviewing for our Unit 1 test. Wednesday, students will finish up their study guide for Thursday's test. Thursday, students will take their first test of the year, and we will follow up Friday with Career Prep.

Good morning, I hope you all had a great weekend, despite some of the sad news we have all received this weekend. Please keep all of the students, family, and everyone involved in your thoughts at SEHS as they mourn the loss of another student.
This week is all about the Quarter 3 Checkpoint. We will spend Monday covering African civilizations and working on our study guide for the checkpoint test, which will be taken Wednesday. Thursday, we will begin introducing our next chapter to kick off quarter 4, which is Early Americas. Friday will be a research day. Please remember: The research project is due April 24, and that date will be here before you know it. I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! This week is going to be a busy week. We will start off the week on Monday by studying Chapter 11 Section 3. We will begin working on the review questions. On Tuesday, we will complete the review questions and go over a brief review of the chapter. Wednesday, we will spend the day studying with blooket. Thursday, it's test day, and Friday we will begin the new unit!
Good morning! I hope you all had a great weekend. Starting on Tuesday, we will begin studying the origins of Islam more in depth. We will complete our blank notes and review questions throughout the week, along with some blooket review. Next Thursday, we will have our second test of the quarter, and shortly after that will be the county checkpoint. We have a busy few weeks ahead, so please be at school at ready to work!
This week is a jam packed week of work. Starting Monday, we will begin notes and a quick review on Christianity. We will complete an activity. Tuesday, we will take notes on Islam, and start the first half of Episode 7 of The Bible. We were meant to begin last week, however we spent more time covering some information. Wednesday, we will finish up the rest of our notes, the Bible movie, and complete a comparison between Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Thursday, we will complete a Show Me The Evidence activity, and Friday will be a research day.
Good Monday everyone! This week, we will begin by finishing up Chapter 9. We will then begin studying Constantine and how he influenced the Roman Empire and Christianity. We will study the Byzantine Empire, alongside Russia's economic growth. We will watch the last episode of 'The Bible.' We watched the first two episodes last semester while studying Christianity. Friday will be a research day for our project that is due April 24.

I want to focus on the important of the research project. Please make sure you are using your time wisely. Students will have a class period once a week until the due date of the project to make sure they have ample time in class to complete this project. There are no excuses and no late submissions, unless you have discussed it with me prior. Projects are due April 24. Happy New Year! Last week, we began learning about the Roman Republic and the Roman Empire, and that has continued into this week. We will be watching a documentary about the rise and fall of the Roman Empire, along with all of the various emperors that Rome saw. We will finish up section four notes on Thursday, and complete the review questions on Friday.
The last week until Christmas break is here! Monday is going to be a review day to get ready for the checkpoint. Tuesday, we will begin the Q2 Checkpoint test as soon as we begin class. Please make sure you are at school Tuesday in order to get the checkpoint finished. The rest of the week after Tuesday will be make-up time. Once again, please come to school to make sure you turn in ALL of your work.
